Lisa helped us book the most amazing resort for our first visit to the Dominican and our first all inclusive without kids in over 20 years! We stayed at the adults only all inclusive resort The Palace Macau and it was absolutely amazing and perfect for all our needs. The most beautiful clean beach I’ve ever been on and the staff were 2nd to none. Thank you lisa for your help with this trip and helping us navigate any questions I had prior to the trip. 100% would recommend lisa to help you with your travel needs

The Travel Desk organized a trip to Costa Rica for my husband and I in October,. We told them our “must haves”, nice to haves” and “no thanks” criteria. They took care of everything, from hotels, to excursions, to transportation.
Our trip was absolutely amazing! Everything we wanted to do was in there, all organized and planned in perfect fashion. Someone met us at the airport with our itinerary, and took us to our first stop of the trip. We were given support and contact information should anything go wrong (which it did not!) and felt great about the trip from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I would definitely recommend using them for any kind of trip you are planning - they can plan it all, or parts of it, and they’re extremely knowledgable about all aspects of travel - what to do, what not to do, etc. I know we’ll use them again in the future should the occasion arise.

This was the 2nd trip I have booked with Lisa and I must say she is amazing! I wouldn’t book a trip without her. Not only did she spend hours finding us the perfect trip (I am picky lol) but even at the resort when I had questions and emailed her she had answers for me right away.
Lisa has spent hours fixing things for me and organizing everything perfectly.

What can I say about my life and travel? Can’t wait to go on my next adventure!

Travel to me is about experiences. Yes, I love to cruise, have been on 12 ocean and 1 river, but we always look for experiences in each destination. For me, just sitting soaking up the sun and drinking a beverage is just one part of being somewhere but I get bored. Now, walking the streets of a new city and taking in the smells, hearing the sounds of the area, seeing the art, watching the people going through their day, and seeing how we are all the same even while we are all different. Going out of the city and spending time taking in the different landscapes, different animals, seeing the different birds. Watching the water, whether in a stream or the middle of the ocean, change colour, waves breaking, waterfalls crashing, glaciers calving, weather forming. It is all amazing to me. Sunsets over the water, from atop a high rise, from a chalet in the mountains, are all spectacular. Full moon and stars cruising the Strait of Magellan, crossing the Pacific or Atlantic, or on the Amazon River, seeing the Southern Cross are all magical.

I have been to Europe a number of times and travelled around by car, train, bus, and cruise. I have been to South America a couple of times. My latest trip was to Peru to experience a cruise on the Amazon River which turned out to be an exceptional adventure. I am still in awe of what that week brought to my life, it was incredible! We have been to Machu Picchu and around Cape Horn. Still need to go to the Galapagos and Easter Island!

Anyway, enough about me. Let me know what it is that you want to experience on your next trip. Let’s make the planning part of the joy of the trip. My job is to make sure that you have the experience you want and expect.

Thank you for taking the time to read this bio and I look forward to working for you!

Travel sports package booking with The Travel Desk in Stony Plain.
I had the opportunity to arrange with Alison at the Travel Desk a fella’s trip to check off the bucket list. This trip focused on a sports weekend for 8 to the Dallas, Texas area.
The focus was college football game, NFL Cowboys game NHL hockey game and golf. In and around this trip was 4 rounds of golf and some great eating of Texan BBQ and fine dining in downtown Dallas.
Alison and the travel desk were amazing in organizing everything from pickup at the airport to the Gaylord resort, our own personal driver to the get us around to golf courses and the college football game.
Alison was very accommodating to our very busy schedule and was very helpful in coordination with Star Sports tours for our NFL experience which included hall fame tailgate party and amazing seats.
If you’re thinking of a sports trip please think of The Travel Desk in Stony Plain. How bout them COWBOYS!
